Love and war are two things where anything goes. Piper Lewis doesn't believe in happily ever afters, thinking they're as rare as finding a prince riding a unicorn. Thankfully, Piper's time on the streets has made her quick, and with a calculated move, she ends up in the backseat, making it clear what she thinks of his behavior. However, it turns out that he isn't a driver at all, but the Best Man. Despite not being a prince, he's still able to charm Piper into a kiss.

Josh Easton is a tough individual who confronts criminals on the streets daily. He never backs down from a fight, which is why he's running for the position of Portland District Attorney. When the mayor offers Josh an endorsement in return for a small favor, he gladly agrees to help with the Ladies Auxiliary League annual fundraiser. He never expects that a group of wealthy Portland socialites could cause problems for him, especially when it comes to the captivating artist whose lips have left a lasting impression.
